Prada SKP:

Outdoors Pop-up Store

Exhibition Design & Visual Merchandising
2021

Nature in its myriad forms takes centre stage in the latest Prada experience, encompassing various landscapes and the changing of the seasons. A picnic on the lawn, games on the beach, the cool shade of the trees. These experiences are celebrated in the new Prada Outdoor pop-up shops and in-store installations, a series of spaces dedicated to the emotions conveyed by different settings – Garden, Coast, and Mountain – containing a selection of original products recalling each particular environment.

& Styling

Blending practical and contemporary, the ready-to-wear selection features cotton garments reminiscent of technical clothing and uniforms, along with ultra-functional yet refined Re-Nylon designs and recycled melange mouliné knitwear. Extremely lightweight, high-performance and versatile raincoats juxtapose with silk twill pyjamas with a fluid and precious design. Tartan dominates the mountain-themed accessories, such as quilted blankets and sleeping bags, as well as padded backpacks with nylon details and integrated hood. Yoga sets, frisbees, basketballs and sporty mirrored glasses round off the collection.

The special ready-to-wear selection is inspired by a day spent in this summer garden featuring flowing silk twill garments and new pattern mixes. Hammocks, blankets and cushions with an outdoorsy attitude enrich the selection, as well as woven picnic baskets, hats and bags. Canvas dominates the gardening selection, and al fresco dining and sport include simple stainless-steel lunchboxes and a yoga mat, frisbee, rugby ball and skipping rope, as well as timeless re-nylon bags.

Exhibtion Outcome

Designed as a luxurious trekking camp, the setting is dedicated to the authenticity of the mountains and the opportunities they provide for sport. An exclusive themed collection is displayed against the backdrop of this captivating environment, with spaces for socialising, relaxation areas and elements recalling alpine scenery.
