UV Sanitation Hub

Harness

UV devices emit ultraviolet rays and provide contactles sanitation. UVC lightreduced the live Coronavirus by 99.7 percent in 30 second. The service industry has taken a huge hit from initial wave. Reopening still prove to be challenging due to heavy reliance on in-person interaction. To better protect the service provider and the customers. Therefore, a portable hub  is a good solution. It provides sanitation for both the individual's belongings and the environment he or she is in.

The Current Market

Devices on the current market cannot bridge the gap of sanitation between the interior and the exterior spaces, and belongings and environment. They are also not designed to acommodate the mobile needs of service providers. Type #1: Compact but only suitable for at-home useType #2: Less effective interaction, more affordable and accessible via online and drug stores Type #3: Large and industrial; non-portable

First round of sketches focused on the dimensions and physicality of the portable sanitation box. A problem that
needed to. Be solved was the method through which it
will attach onto the human body.

Harness Form

Harness shape allows the device to be a part of the user. The modularity of the harness allows for internal and external sanitation. The sanitizing pocket holds personal accessories. While the detachable handheld device can be used to sanitize one’s external environment, clothes, etc. This device is a functional piece of workwear, a uniform for the covid lifestyle.
